I'll stamp all over 'legitimate boxer' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight-round fight which will be shown live on Netflix.

Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "break" the American as the combatants came face-to-face to build hype for next month's bout.

Ex twice unified title holder Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive disparity - at Miami's venue on 19 December.

Boxer's Attitude

"I'm going to damage his features and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I intend to seriously aim to injure him. That's what I want to do."

Civil Exchange

Despite such comments, a calm Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally recognized for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.

Paul instead criticized ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "a joke" after Ngannou rejected a bout proposal.

Targeting Fury

Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK opponent Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.

"[Paul] is better than Fury - he showed up," the boxer commented.

"I acknowledge that."

Serious Opponent

Despite declaring he will punish Paul, Joshua refused to speak negatively about his opponent's pugilistic talent.

"Jake is a serious fighter," he remarked.

Paul's Background

Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since becoming pro.

He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in last year.

Commercial Success

However, the novice continues to be one of the sport's greatest financial successes, consistently making massive financial rewards.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28-year-old anticipated a KO victory in rounds four or five and asserted he would prevent the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly under discussion for two years from now.

"The next fight will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul said.

Physical Disparity

As Joshua and Paul engaged in the usual confrontation, with their size difference on show, it emphasized just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the match is really proceeding.
